Bryan's Bad Ideas

Herein you shall find many of my bad ideas.  Why are they bad ideas?  Well, I can't say for certain that any of them are really "bad" per se, especially since it is my firm belief that there are no bad ideas, only bad implementations.  However, despite this, most of the ideas I have are labeled as "bad ideas" by the people to whom I tell them.  This page is dedicated to the "bad ideas" I have had pertaining to computers, usually just to the Silicon Graphics O2 workstation.  But sometimes I will have ideas for hardware or software for other operating systems, and I will include those here as well.

Before I continue, a bit of a disclaimer.  I do not guarantee that any of the items on this page will work, nor that they will not cause catastrophic damage to your computer.  Proceed at your own risk.  I do test all these ideas after I have implemented them, and I will always note my experiences with said item, but that still doesn't mean you are safe should you use one of these items.  Don't blame me if it screws something up on your system.  After all, I DID label it as a "bad idea."

Also, I will do my best to date the entries so you can know how new or old they are, plus see if I have made any revisions to the entry.

If you found anything here useful or entertaining, or you just want to make a comment (preferably a nice one, though, as all rude comments will be posted as an addendum to this page to show the world what a rude idiot you are) feel free to e-mail me.  I'd like to know if anyone is making use of this information, as it does inspire me to maintain the page and type up all my bad ideas, of which I have at least two a day.
